Geues - Head of the Great Aussie Bight - 2nd visit Oct .07

Our 2nd visit to Geues at the Head of the Bight was even better than our 1st visit. How can that be you may ask! Well all will be revealed as you view this BLOG. Plus we had the place to ourselves most of the time, with another group fishing day light hours and further up the beach at Jerry's.

Nearly there! Over three hours from the Eyre Hwy to camp site 37k's, stopping to prune the trees and scrub. It paid off no damage to the van this year.

How magic is this, better than National Geographic!!

Okay ! Now you know why it was better than our 1st trip.

All sounds better with weights in pounds (9.3kg) and measure in Metric! (3'6")

Now we want talk about the one that got away. Night fishing and the line is just smokin' off the reel and I got a bit carried away with the drag in the dark - ping!

Check out all the rocks exposed on the beach!

Great place to stop for breakfast before rolling into Port Lincoln, and moving on to Lincoln National Park for our third visit and KISS celebrations - Next Blog (Bushabout KISS Nov.07 ) will reveal all!
